Photographer's Note:
"This shoot was really important to me. We didn't shoot anything too exciting or anything too rash. What we did do, though, was soothing to my soul. I had a few random props around the house I had always been saving for a rainy day. Well today, since it was cold outside, the model didn't want to shoot outdoors. So since I've been feeling so down and out lately, I thought it would be a fun idea to try out each one and see if we could make something beautiful out of it. Some of the ideas we had failed, but this one seemed to reign upon all the others.
In retrospect this photo is of myself. Sitting, waiting. Wondering. Wishing. Praying. Hoping, beyond anything else, that things will get better then this. Believing that God does have a plan, and that he wouldn't leave me out of it."

I honestly wish that the model's expression was a bit more emotive here, or at least a bit more impacting. What I do like is your point of view & the balanced tones of warm & cool. It definitely helps the mood & concept of the photo come together. I think that the thing around her neck throws the image off, it's too much & very random, but I like the contrast of harshness it brings to her soft expression & the beautiful implied nudity of her attire.
